Infinity is expanding the option list for its 1/10 electric touring car, the IF14 Speciale, with two new wheel driveshafts and a welcome little workshop tool.
ECS EVO front driveshafts: efficiency and maintenance
The ECS EVO front driveshaft is presented as a balance of drive efficiency, durability and ease of maintenance. Its smoother operation translates into more predictable handling and better traction. A useful detail for setup work: a short 42.5mm version now sits alongside the standard 44mm length, and suits very high-grip tracks better.
Coated aluminium rear CVD
At the rear, Infinity offers an aluminium CVD with a wear-resistant coating. The aim is to cut rotating mass: less inertia, a more immediate throttle response and more consistent power delivery over the length of a final.
Dedicated wheel hexes and tool
One thing to watch when ordering: both driveshafts require specific wheel hexes, sold separately, available in three offsets (-0.5 / 0 / +0.5mm). The brand is also releasing an aluminium universal joint nut tool, which makes assembling and stripping the whole unit easier.
