Dutch driver Jilles Groskamp, already known for running Ielasi Tuned engines in his nitro chassis, has been fine-tuning the new Infinity IF15-II in 1/10 touring. His work focused on tread width, a key parameter for chassis balance through corners.
Four setups tested on a low-grip track
Groskamp compared four settings: 200mm front and rear, 198mm front with 200mm rear, 198mm on both axles, and 200mm front with 198mm rear. The tests were carried out on a surface offering low-to-medium grip, a setup representative of the tracks found in nitro touring competition, where the driver has particularly shone this season at the IFMAR World Championship in Gubbio.
