Titanium hardware for the XRAY XT2C’28 and XT2D’28 has arrived: on 29 August 2026 T-Work’s put online seven option parts cut for the new generation of the Slovak manufacturer’s 1/10 2WD stadium truck. The catalogue covers hardware, turnbuckles, ball ends and bearings in one go — enough to prepare a new chassis without juggling suppliers.
Two levels of hardware, from titanium to gold-plated steel
The top of the range is the TSSU-XT2’28 kit: 131 grade 64 titanium screws with UFO heads, at $147.73. Titanium is chosen here for its strength-to-weight ratio, considerably more favourable than conventional steel across a set of this size. On a 2WD where every gram above the chassis counts, the saving is not trivial.
For drivers unwilling to spend that much, T-Work’s offers two gold-plated steel alternatives: the GSS-XT2’28 (131 pieces, $19.14) with standard heads, and the GSSU-XT2’28 (111 pieces, $15.55) with UFO heads. You lose the weight saving but keep the finish and corrosion resistance, for less than a tenth of the price of the titanium kit.
Turnbuckles, ball ends and precision bearings
The TB-XT2’28 turnbuckle set, also in grade 64 titanium, is listed at $37.79. It is complemented by the TP-220-XT2’28 set of 18 titanium ball ends at $54.59: on a stadium truck these are the parts that constantly absorb suspension and steering travel, and their quality directly conditions how accurately the geometry holds over time.
On bearings, T-Work’s offers two distinct sets depending on the chassis version, which confirms that the two models do not have exactly the same architecture: the BBS-XT2C’28 counts 22 bearings for the XT2C’28 ($21.56), the BBS-XT2D’28 counts 24 for the XT2D’28 ($23.52). So take care not to order the wrong part number.
A range available as soon as the chassis lands
The interest of this announcement lies above all in its timing: the options arrive at the same time as the platform, not six months later. Drivers building a new XT2’28 can therefore consider the switch to titanium at the first build, without having to strip the chassis a second time. All part numbers can be ordered directly from the T-Work’s store.
