The T-Work’s carbon shock towers for the Team Associated RC8B4.2 arrive alongside a set of aluminium differential cross pins. Two targeted options for the American 1/8 nitro buggy, following the Taiwanese brand’s usual logic: lighten without weakening.

5 mm and 4 mm carbon shock towers

The TO-247-B4.2 set includes a 5 mm thick front tower and a 4 mm rear tower, both machined from high-quality carbon fibre. They come with hard-coated aluminium standoffs, which replace the original parts on the Team Associated RC8B4.2.

On a 1/8 buggy, the shock towers sit high on the chassis: every gram removed there lowers the overall centre of gravity. T-Work’s highlights this twin effect — reduced mass and lowered centre of gravity — for extra stability, particularly on fast tracks and big jump landings.

7075-T6 aluminium diff cross pins

The second batch, part number TO-258-B4.2, gathers differential cross pins machined from hard-coated 7075-T6 aluminium. That surface treatment targets wear directly: the cross pin is one of the most heavily loaded parts in a differential, and its peening eventually introduces play into the drivetrain.

The cross pins are offered in pairs for the centre differential and in sets of six to equip the front and rear differentials, so you only replace what you need.
