Japanese brand Yokomo has just released a firmware update for its RPX4 electronic speed controller, presented in a video by Tomé, the engineer in charge of the product’s development.
A much wider power curve adjustment range
The core of this update concerns the power curve: the adjustment range goes from -5/+5 to -15/+15, giving drivers much finer control to adjust motor response according to the track and driving style.
A stronger turbo boost
The boost/turbo setting can now reach up to 100, up from its previous cap. This Yokomo RPX4 firmware update allows for more advanced customization, especially for 1/10 touring car racers looking to fine-tune their power delivery down to the smallest detail.
In his presentation video, Tomé also shares his own recommended settings to make the most of these new possibilities.
