Yeah Racing: aluminium adjustable grips for 5mm bullet plugs

Yeah Racing is expanding its connector range with an accessory that is as simple as it is useful: adjustable machined aluminium grips for 5mm bullet plugs. Listed under part number WPT-0165-00144004, the set tackles a familiar annoyance for drivers, unplugging battery bullets.

5mm bullet plugs that are finally easy to unplug

The principle lies in the diameter: the machined collar offers a far wider grip than the connector body, which lets you pull straight without straining the output wires or the pack’s cells. The adjustment nut lets you match the grip’s position to the bullet length in use, whatever the setup.

A collar that also acts as a heat sink

Aluminium was not chosen for stiffness alone: the collar also works as a heat sink and helps dissipate the heat built up at the connection under sustained discharge. That is far from a detail in 1/8 off-road or modified touring, where the currents running through bullet plugs are high.
