Crowned 2026 EFRA 1/10 FWD European Champion, Stefan Schulz pulled off the perfect double: fastest in qualifying, the Xray driver converted his pole into the title on Sunday 9 August 2026 at the Luxembourg Model Car Club track in Steinfort.
Title settled in two legs
As in Spec, the front-wheel-drive class was decided quickly: Schulz won A1 then A2 and wrapped up his European Championship on 2 points, without needing the third final. FWD, run on 1/10 front-wheel-drive chassis, remains one of the most technical classes on the European electric programme, with noticeably slower lap times than Modified.
The Valents in pursuit, a Frenchman just off the podium
Márk Valent took second place on 4 points, ahead of Gergo Valent, third on 6 points. France’s Aurélien Threhout narrowly missed the podium on 7 points, tied with fifth-placed Jacques Libar. Roman Borschel (8 points) and Cédric Gridelet completed the top of the order.
The FWD A-main top 10
1. Stefan Schulz – 2. Márk Valent – 3. Gergo Valent – 4. Aurélien Threhout – 5. Jacques Libar – 6. Roman Borschel – 7. Cédric Gridelet – 8. Frederik Hovgaard – 9. Max Weffers – 10. Tomas Sova.
Xray and the X4F
At Xray, 1/10 front-wheel drive is built around the X4F platform, which the Slovakian manufacturer updates season after season. Schulz was also entered in Spec, where he finished tenth in the A-main won by Max Mächler — a weekend of two halves for the German, who still leaves with a continental crown.
Official results: MyRCM timing for the EFRA “EC 1/10 TC electric” event (7-9 August 2026), organised by the Luxembourg Model Car Club.
