French driver Lucas Urbain (Awesomatix) has been crowned 2026 FFVRC French 1:10 Touring Modified champion after the final round held at Marmagne, in central France.
Qualifying dominance confirmed in the finals
Top qualifier across nearly every session of the weekend, Urbain turned that dominance into the title by winning finals A1 and A2, a result that was enough to secure the 1:10 Touring Modified championship before the last final was even run.
Cyril N’diaye and Rémi Callens complete the podium
Cyril N’diaye, who set the fastest time in Q2, won final A3 after finishing runner-up in A1. Rémi Callens, driving an RC Maker chassis, rounds out the podium with two second places in A1 and A3. Thomas Vigneron also qualified inside the top 4 throughout the weekend.
The title confirms the strong form of the Awesomatix chassis in French 1:10 Touring Modified competition for the 2026 season.
