Round 3 of the 2026/27 ETS championship season continues at Arena 33 in Andernach, Germany, with an unexpected twist in the top class of electric 1/10 touring.
Völker capitalizes on Orlowski’s mistake
Having won the first qualifier, Michal Orlowski (Schumacher) looked set for another pole position in the second qualifying run. But a driving mistake cost the Polish driver dearly, opening the door for Ronald Völker, at the wheel of the RC Maker, who takes the provisional lead in the Cayote Modified class.
Behind this duo, Simon Lauter (Awesomatix) holds provisional 3rd place, ahead of Bruno Coelho (Infinity) and Lucas Urbain, after 2 of the 4 scheduled qualifiers.
The other classes at the Andernach round
In Pro Stock, the Xray pairing of Jan Ratheisky and Adam Izsay occupy the top two spots, ahead of Sören Sparbier (Mugen Seiki). In 40+ Masters, David Ehrbar (Xray) leads the way, while Martin Hudy (Xray) dominates the Formula Matrix class.
The final two qualifiers will show whether Ronald Völker can hold his advantage over Michal Orlowski before the finals of this third round of the ETS championship.
