Cayote has announced the arrival of Levi Berkenbosch in its driver line-up. The 17-year-old Dutchman, who made a name for himself with his results in the ETS (Euro Touring Series), therefore joins the brushless power system manufacturer for the next stage of his 1/10 touring career.
A young Dutch driver from the ETS ranks
At 17, Levi Berkenbosch belongs to that generation of drivers trained directly in the tough school of the European electric touring championship. The ETS remains the continental benchmark in 1/10 on-road, with grids where a single tenth per lap costs several places — a demanding learning ground, and an effective shop window for a young driver looking for factory backing.
That is exactly what Cayote highlights, praising “strong ETS results and a passion for RC racing”.
What Cayote brings to the driver
The brand has built its reputation on high-end brushless power systems — motors, speed controllers and power peripherals — and already supports several drivers at major international events. For a touring driver, the value of a partnership with a motor manufacturer goes beyond simply being supplied with parts: it also means access to development work, specific windings and ESC settings tailored to each track.
On the team side, the wording is classic but clear: “We’re excited to support Levi on his racing journey and take on new challenges together.”
A signing that fits the moment
The summer 2026 RC transfer season has been unusually busy, between the departures and arrivals announced among the big names of 1/10 touring and off-road. By backing a 17-year-old rather than an established name, Cayote is betting on the long term — building its image around a driver who will grow with the brand.
