German driver Joern Neumann (Cayote, WIRC team) reclaimed the DMC German National electric 1/10 2WD Modified buggy title this weekend, a crown he had already held in 2024. The final took place on the astroturf track of MRC Leipzig, where he dethroned defending champion Joona Haatanen (Team Associated).

Stein dominant in qualifying and A1

Qualifying favored Julius Stein (Team Associated), who set four fastest times across five rounds to take top spot ahead of Neumann and Haatanen, second and third respectively. In the 7-minute A1 final, Stein confirmed his form with a six-second win over Neumann, with Moritz Lautenbach completing the podium after climbing from fifth on the grid.

A decisive rain-affected A3

The second final (A2) saw Haatanen take revenge ahead of Marcel Schneider, Stein and Neumann. Everything was decided in A3: welcome rain changed track conditions, and while Stein initially led the race, a mistake on lap 13 cost him the win. Joern Neumann seized the lead and took the win ahead of Schneider and Haatanen, securing the national title overall. Haatanen ultimately finished 2nd in the championship ahead of teammate Stein, split by tiebreak.
