Hudy is expanding its on-road catalogue with a 1/10 Formula front wing along with its matching nose, two composite parts developed in partnership with Ehrbar Engineering and announced as compatible with most Formula chassis on the market.
A 1/10 Formula front wing built around steering
In 1/10 Formula, front downforce is what everything hinges on: it decides how precisely the car turns in and how stable it stays in a straight line. Hudy highlights a sharp steering response combined with steady support, the aim being to avoid the usual trade-off where extra front bite is paid for with a nervous rear end.
High-grade composite, light and strong
Both parts are moulded in a high-grade composite that Hudy describes as “lightweight and super strong”. That matters on this type of part: a Formula front wing scrapes, catches kerbs and takes contact in a pack, and a component that is too brittle ends up in the bin after a single weekend. The brand claims optimised performance on both asphalt and carpet, the two reference surfaces in the class.
Three part numbers available
The range consists of the front wing in white (part no. 293701) and black (part no. 293701-K), plus the front nose in black (part no. 293700-K), the latter designed to be fitted with either version of the wing. All three are available from the Hudy online store.
