HPI Racing Venture18: seven new option parts for the 1/18 competition crawler

HPI Racing is expanding the option catalogue for its Venture18, the brand’s 1/18 competition crawler, with seven new part numbers covering the drivetrain, suspension geometry, chassis rigidity and ground clearance.

Drivetrain and chassis

The headline item is the HD steel V2 centre driveshaft set (#161442), backed by its rebuild set (#161443) so wear parts can be replaced without buying the whole assembly. On the rigidity side, the carbon fibre chassis plate set (#161445) replaces the stock parts.

Brass, aluminium and ground clearance

The brass suspension mount set (#161444) adds weight in the right place, low under the chassis — a crawling classic for improving stability on off-camber sections. The high-clearance aluminium link set (#161448), in a gunmetal finish, raises the mounting points to clear obstacles.

Two sets of 1.3in wheels

Finally, two sets of 1.3in aluminium wheels round out the list: the black CC-8 (#161446) and the silver CC-6 (#161447), both sold in packs of four.
