Traxxas announces the TXC-4M (part number 120074-1), a new extreme 1/18 scale crawler that expands its technical off-road lineup. Soon available as a Ready-To-Run (RTR) model, this small-scale rig relies on generous ground clearance and a four-wheel-drive system to climb the most technical obstacles.
An 1/18 scale chassis built for crawling
The TXC-4M weighs 467 g with a 167 mm wheelbase and 43 mm (1.7 in) of ground clearance. The shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain runs through a single-speed direct-drive transmission with a 74.1:1 gear ratio, tuned for low-speed traction rather than outright speed. Steering angle reaches up to 60°, a real asset for tackling tight turns on a scale course.
Brushless power and full RTR equipment
Under the hood, a 3S sensorless brushless motor rated at 3350 kV (18 g) is driven by a Traxxas FOC-controlled ESC with a 6V BEC. The RTR package includes an 11.1V 3S 250 mAh LiPo battery, a USB quick charger with iD technology, and a TQ Compact 2.4 GHz transmitter. The model will be offered in several body colors (blue, green, tan).
The TXC-4M is announced as “Coming Soon” at Traxxas, with a suggested price of $299.
