3Racing has opened pre-orders for a front-wheel-drive version of its 1/10 electric touring car, the Zero Cero. And the brand makes one point clear: this is not a conversion kit, but an FWD chassis designed from the ground up around the Zero Cero architecture.
A true front-wheel-drive chassis, not a conversion
The difference starts with the chassis plate: 1.2mm steel, drilled with dedicated 110-degree countersunk screws machined specifically for this model. All the mass has been moved forward — servo, motor, steering and battery — to load the driven axle, which is the key to how a 1/10 FWD car behaves.
Brass up front, cutouts at the rear
The front bumper is a 48-gram brass alloy block, drilled with holes for adding tuning weights. At the rear, the chassis plate gets multiple cutouts intended to soften the platform and find traction despite having no drive on that axle.
Shortened front gearbox and 225 belt
The drivetrain has been redrawn too: the front gearbox is specially shortened for the FWD layout, and the 225 belt targets better motor response and sharper acceleration. The streamlined upper deck integrates the differential top cover directly — fewer parts, less weight.
This Zero Cero FWD derives from the Zero Cero launched earlier in 2026 to mark the brand’s 15th anniversary. It arrives as the front-wheel-drive class keeps gaining ground at club level and in competition alike.
