The 2026 BRCA National Buggy series delivered a script few families ever get to live. At Round 5, hosted by the Bury Metro Radio Car Club, the Hall brothers swept both classes of the weekend: Jamie in 2WD, Tommy in 4WD. Both drivers race for Team Associated, which therefore leaves this round of the British 1/10 buggy championship with two wins out of two.

2WD: Jamie Hall converts his front-row start

In 2WD, Jamie Hall was already well placed after qualifying, taking second spot ahead of his brother Tommy. In the finals he took the A1 leg from Ben Smith (Schumacher) and never let go of the lead. Smith finished second, with Tommy Hall completing the podium in third.

4WD: first win of the season for Tommy Hall

The following day the balance of power flipped in 4WD. Tommy Hall won the A2 and A3 legs to secure his first win of the season in the four-wheel-drive class of the BRCA National Buggy series. Thomas Phipps took second and Josh Holdsworth third, in a field where the gaps stayed tight all weekend.

Next stop: the Batley final

The Hall brothers’ double adds spice to the championship run-in: the 2026 BRCA National Buggy final takes place on 29 and 30 August at the Batley Buggy Club. With an in-form Team Associated driver in each class, the last British round of the season promises to be closely fought in both 2WD and 4WD.
