Kyosho Fazer Mk2 FZ02: the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Lizard Green as a 1:10 ReadySet

Kyosho is adding a choice item to its Fazer Mk2 FZ02 range: the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 RS in its Lizard Green colour, fitted to the brand’s 1:10 4WD touring chassis and sold as a ReadySet. The part number is 34445T1 (JAN code 4548565525362), listed at 48,400 yen including tax for an announced October 2026 release.

An ULTRA SCALE BODY Plus shell with no body clips

The main argument of this ReadySet is its body. Kyosho calls it ULTRA SCALE BODY Plus: an evolution of its in-house detailed body, which faithfully reproduces the light bezels, grille, bumpers and mirrors, and now moves to a clipless mounting system. The mounting system is the one introduced on the Fazer D2.

Headlights, front position lamps and taillights are clear injection-moulded parts, with buckets compatible with the optional 97054 series LED units. Two 97054-4C sets allow four clear LEDs to be fitted at the front and four at the rear to get even closer to the real car. The mesh wheels come with low-profile tyres featuring an original semi-slick tread pattern from Kyosho.

The FZ02 chassis, a shaft-drive 4WD base

Under that body, the FZ02 is a full-time 4WD shaft-drive touring chassis, revised over the previous generation with fewer parts, simpler maintenance, contained weight and increased rigidity thanks to new materials and front and rear ribbing. Its symmetrical design targets good front-to-rear balance.

Equipment includes a slipper clutch, sealed front and rear gear differentials, oil shocks, bearings throughout the drivetrain and a KS202W waterproof steering servo. The brake-disc-style wheel hubs come in two offsets (0 and +5 mm) to accept 190 and 200 mm wide bodies, and the wheelbase can be brought down to 260 mm by changing a few separately sold parts, in order to fit other 1:10 body styles.

Ready to run, apart from battery and charger

The ReadySet arrives factory assembled. All that is needed is four AA batteries for the transmitter, plus a battery and a charger for the car. The sealed transmission and differentials are said to be protected well enough to run on dusty surfaces such as car parks.
