Kenrick Fong is joining XRAY. The Hong Kong-based driver, crowned 2026 Chinese national champion in 1/10 touring, has confirmed his move to the Slovakian manufacturer after racing in Mugen Seiki colours.
A move that comes at the right time
The timing is anything but incidental: Kenrick Fong arrives at XRAY with a brand-new national title in hand. A signing secured at the peak of a driver’s form is obviously worth more than a bet on a prospect, and the Slovakian brand picks up a driver already seasoned at high-level events.
A driver seasoned on the international scene
Fong is no unknown outside Asia. He raced the ETS this season, the European championship that serves as the benchmark in 1/10 touring, and is among the TITC finalists in Open Brushless as well as eSIC. Those are the kind of credentials that explain XRAY‘s interest, the brand’s touring squad remaining one of the deepest on the international scene.
The driver’s words
In his announcement message, the driver says he is thrilled to officially join Team XRAY and thanks Martin and Nic for the trust placed in him, promising to give his very best and to push hard for results. It now remains to be seen which events he will first appear at in his new colours.
