The XRAY X4 adds another line to its national record. On 23 August 2026, XRAY announced that Mathias Nedrebo is the 2026 Norwegian 1/10 electric touring car champion, with a rare achievement: the Norwegian driver took the title in both premier classes of the discipline, Stock and Modified, at the wheel of his X4.

A Stock and Modified double for the XRAY X4

Taking both crowns in the same season is far from trivial. The Stock class imposes a restricted motor and rewards above all the subtlety of the set-up, grip management and consistency over the length of a final. Modified, on the other hand, unleashes the power and shifts the focus towards pure mechanical control and traction. Pulling off both with the same platform is the best possible argument for a touring car chassis: it proves the base accepts very different set-up windows without changing its logic.

For Mathias Nedrebo, this new title confirms an already established position: XRAY‘s archives associate the Norwegian driver with several national titles over previous seasons, always with the X4 family.

The X4, XRAY’s 1/10 electric touring car benchmark

The X4 is the Slovak brand’s belt-driven 1/10 electric four-wheel-drive touring car, renewed every season and offered in several chassis configurations (aluminium and carbon) to suit carpet as well as asphalt. It is one of the most widely represented chassis on European and Asian grids in the discipline, and it regularly feeds the results published by XRAY on its news feed.

This Norwegian title is part of a run of strong results announced by the brand in August 2026, following the X4’s wins at the Hudy Series Asia in Indonesia and the podiums scored by the XB2 and XB4 in New Zealand.

The takeaway

One driver, one chassis, two national titles in the same season: the XRAY X4 confirms its status as a safe bet in 1/10 electric touring, and Mathias Nedrebo remains Norway’s benchmark in the class.
