T-Work’s keeps expanding its option parts catalogue for the 1/8 nitro Team Associated RC8B4.2 buggy with a new drivetrain part number: the TO-304R-RC8B4.2 steel centre driveshaft, listed on 14 August 2026 on the Taiwanese manufacturer’s official store.

TO-304R-RC8B4.2: a 111mm steel rear centre driveshaft

The part follows the manufacturer’s in-house naming: the R suffix stands for the rear centre driveshaft (CR), the one linking the centre differential to the rear differential. It measures 111mm, a length specific to the RC8B4.2, and is machined from the steel T-Work’s uses across the rest of its TO-304 range. It is sold individually, priced at 13.30 dollars.

A range growing chassis by chassis

This part number arrives only days after the TO-304-F8e steel centre driveshafts for the Sparko F8e, and right behind a series of titanium and 7075 aluminium options for the RC8T4.2 and RC8T4.2E. The logic at T-Work’s is always the same: offering, part by part, an alternative to the stock drivetrain components on the most widely raced 1/8 chassis.
