Team Associated RC24 Zoom Rally RTR: the ready-to-run 1/24 rally micro-racer

Team Associated is expanding its RC24 range with the RC24 Zoom Rally RTR, a 1/24 rally-flavoured micro-racer delivered fully assembled and ready to run. Listed as part number 20210, it is announced for pre-order and targets beginners as much as experienced racers looking for a second machine to run at home or on a small track.

A moulded chassis built to last

The RC24 Zoom Rally is based on a moulded chassis reinforced with steel hinge pins and fitted with independent suspension at all four corners. That layout lets it absorb the bumps of an improvised track without losing traction, which is the usual weak point of micro models with rudimentary suspension.

Drivetrain and tyres

The drivetrain uses tough gear differentials, backed up by ball bearings throughout the driveline. High-traction all-terrain tyres complete the package and allow a seamless switch from tarmac to dirt, a versatility that fits the model’s rally positioning.

An upgradable platform, not just a toy

The main argument from Team Associated lies in the idea of an upgradable platform: the RC24 Zoom Rally is a hobby-grade product with all parts available separately, and it accepts race-spec Reedy micro electronics. A driver can therefore start with the stock equipment and then develop the car without changing chassis.

What the ready-to-run package includes

The kit comes with a painted and decalled Lexan body, a 2.4 GHz transmitter with batteries, a 1S LiPo battery and its USB charger, a pre-installed micro servo and a 2-in-1 micro ESC + receiver unit. Nothing else is needed for the first run.
