Tamiya made a splash at the 64th All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2026, showcasing several new RC releases, starting with the long-awaited reissue of The Falcon 1/10 buggy (#47532), out of the catalog since its original 1986 launch.

This build kit features a rigid ABS buggy-type chassis, with independent suspension on all four wheels (double wishbone at the front, swing arms with oil-filled CVA shocks at the rear) and a sealed gearbox with a built-in differential. Its dimensions (420 x 230 x 145mm) stay true to the spirit of the original model.
Tamiya also unveiled the 1/12 Lamborghini Cheetah (#58754), along with a 1/9 Volkswagen Dune Beetle Cross on the BB-02 chassis and a 1/10 Lamborghini Countach 5000S on the TT-02 platform, confirming the Japanese brand’s appetite for reissues and iconic automotive licenses.
