Pole and victory for Watanabe in 4WD 13.5T
At August’s off-road round race, Japanese driver Takusho Watanabe, a member of Team Yokomo, delivered the TQ-and-win double in the 4WD Stock 13.5T class — the most heavily contested category of the event, packed with young drivers. A result that confirms the Japanese driver’s consistency aboard his Yokomo MO3.0, already the source of other podiums this season.
On the setup side, Watanabe stuck close to the factory recommendations: Orange all-round front springs, a one-step-stiffer prototype rear spring, a shortened rear upper arm for extra rear steering, plus light adjustments to front weight and the steering horn. A measured configuration favoring high-speed stability without sacrificing 4WD agility.
Another win that illustrates how stacked the 13.5T class is at Yokomo, where the fight for pole stays wide open at every round.
