The Sparko Racing F8e keeps attracting option part specialists, and T-Work’s is adding a pair of steel centre driveshafts for the Taiwanese 1/8 electric buggy to its catalogue. Listed as TO-304-F8e, these parts target the centre drivetrain, one of the most heavily loaded areas of a modern 1/8 electric.

91 mm front, 111 mm rear

The range consists of two lengths: a 91 mm front centre shaft and a 111 mm rear centre shaft, each sold separately. The dimensions match the original F8e parts, so this is a direct replacement with no modification to the chassis or the differentials.

Surface-treated steel to limit wear

The shafts are machined from quality steel with a hardened surface treatment. T-Work’s claims quicker spool-up, better transmission efficiency and therefore more speed at the end of the straight. On a 1/8 electric buggy, where available torque is instant and considerable, the strength of the centre cups and pins directly determines consistency over a full run.

A steel alternative to the titanium version

The brand already offered 64 titanium centre driveshafts for the same F8e, under the TP-200F-F8E front and TP-200R-F8E rear references, aimed at saving weight. The steel version instead plays the durability card at a clearly lower price, a classic trade-off between weight and service life depending on the racing programme.

Price and availability

The TO-304-F8e parts are listed at 11.90 dollars each on the brand’s official store, and are joining the ranges of its usual European dealers such as Wartelle Shop, RC Team and Aigoin Racing.
