The third round of the 2026 Swiss Championship took place this weekend at the Woller circuit, with two classes on the schedule: Monster 2WD and 4WD Modified. The standout result: the Xray XB4 confirmed its current form by taking victory in the top class.

4WD Modified: Nico Schmid wins ahead of Lynn Blatter and Patrick Hofer on the Xray XB4

On Sunday, in 4WD Modified, Nico Schmid dominated proceedings on his Xray XB4 to take victory in this round 3. Lynn Blatter finished second, while Patrick Hofer completed the podium with a second Xray XB4, after improving throughout the weekend to score P2 and P4 in the finals.

Monster 2WD: the new Xray XT2’28 already on the podium with Patrick Hofer

On Saturday, in Monster 2WD, Joel Rubli took the win, but attention mostly focused on Patrick Hofer, who finished second aboard the brand-new Xray XT2’28. The Swiss driver also set the fastest lap of the class with this freshly launched stadium truck, an encouraging sign of its competitive potential. Felix Arnold rounded out the podium in third.

A particularly strong weekend for the Xray team in Switzerland, with podium finishes in both classes on the schedule for this round of the Swiss Championship.
