The SkyRC brand is making a strong statement with the launch of the SkyRC PSU650, a compact DC power hub that targets both competition paddocks and workshop benches. Announced on September 18, 2026, this 650W maximum unit promises to simplify life for drivers juggling multiple chargers, batteries and mobile devices during a race day.

Desktop format, clean look and above all versatility: the PSU650 positions itself as a central station capable of powering a LiPo pack charger while simultaneously recharging a smartphone or tablet via its USB-C ports. An approach that perfectly matches the needs of touring, buggy or TT 1/8 teams, where space on the pit table is always at a premium.

Technical specifications of the SkyRC PSU650

Under its compact housing (162.5 x 120 x 48 mm for around 950 g), the PSU650 features electronics built around GaN (gallium nitride) technology, ensuring better energy efficiency and finer thermal management than conventional silicon-based power supplies.

In terms of power, the unit delivers up to 650W when connected to 220-240V mains (500W at 110-120V), with an adjustable DC output from 1 to 24V and an adjustable current from 0.1 to 30A maximum, with a stated accuracy of ±2%. Distribution is handled via two native XT60 outputs and 4 mm banana terminals, allowing direct connection to most RC chargers on the market.

Three USB-C ports complete the set, each capable of delivering up to 100W of fast charging thanks to the PD 3.0, PPS and QC protocols. An intelligent power allocation function automatically distributes the available energy between the different active outputs, preventing any overload when several devices draw power at the same time.

Control is done via a mobile app connected over Bluetooth, giving access to custom presets, a dashboard showing real-time power output, as well as OTA firmware updates. With this PSU650, SkyRC is betting on a hybrid product, both a workshop tool for the RC driver and a portable power hub for everyday use.
