Serpent X26: a Junior European Champion for the electric touring car programme

The Serpent X26 welcomes a new team driver: German Thilo Baldes, just crowned 1/8 On-Road Junior European Champion, will race the Dutch chassis in 1/10 electric touring. His debut with the car is scheduled for the next ETS round, in Andernach.

At 15, Thilo Baldes is no stranger to the paddock. It was in 1/10 electric that he cut his teeth several years ago, before moving to nitro on-road, where he has been racking up results at national and international level with the Serpent 990R. His move to the X26 is therefore both a return to his roots and an expanded programme.

“I’m really looking forward to my first race with the Serpent X26 and am very grateful to Serpent for their support,” says the young driver, who highlights the development work carried out by Dominic Greiner: in his view, the world champion has developed a genuinely competitive car together with the brand.

The latest addition to Serpent‘s 1/10 electric touring range, the X26 is available with either a carbon or a steel chassis. It will now have to deliver quickly on the ETS rounds, the benchmark European series in electric touring.
