RugRacers 2026/2027: Zak Finlay, Ethan Southall and Elliott Harper win Round 1 of the 20th anniversary season

The 1/10 touring series RugRacers held Round 1 of its 2026/2027 season on 3 October, a special round marking the launch of the British series’ 20th anniversary. The event drew a strong field, with several world, European and British (BRCA) champions lining up alongside winners from previous seasons.

Three classes, three different winners

In Stock Touring, defending champion Zak Finlay confirmed his form by winning ahead of Adam Southgate and Finley Whitelock. In Front Wheel Drive (FWD), it was also the defending champion, Ethan Southall, who took the win, ahead of Aidan Ripley and Adam Southgate. Finally, in the Modified class, victory went to Elliott Harper, ahead of Alex Thurston and Andy Murray.

Round 2 of this 20th-anniversary season will show whether these three drivers can back up their strong start to the championship.
