RC Paddock: the RC data analysis platform that brings lap times, setups and telemetry together

Competitive RC racing produces a considerable amount of data, yet it stays scattered across timing websites, setup sheets, spreadsheets and notebooks. RC Paddock, the new web-based RC data analysis platform created by David Loppini, finally brings everything together in one place so that those numbers turn into concrete decisions at the track.
RC Paddock: a single RC data analysis platform for the whole weekend
Instead of juggling several tools, RC Paddock connects lap times, setups, notes, telemetry and videos within a single racing workflow. Drivers can review practice sessions as well as race runs, compare two runs, assess consistency and tyre degradation, document every setup change and build a searchable history of their whole racing activity.
Live timing with IWI Timing, or CSV import
During practice days, the platform works alongside the free IWI Timing software to bring lap times in in real time. CSV files can also be imported from supported third-party timing websites, which makes it possible to retrieve and analyse sessions that were recorded earlier. When no transponder is available, a manual timing function takes over and feeds exactly the same dashboards.
Head-to-head comparisons and AI-generated reports
At race events, RC Paddock lets users measure themselves directly against the other drivers: head-to-head comparisons, lap-by-lap data and race-pace analysis show where time is being gained or lost — not only over a single fastest lap, but throughout an entire run. Added to this are CSV telemetry analysis, structured run planning and AI-generated reports that summarise the session and highlight what to focus on for the next one.
From club racer to professional team
Behind the project is David Loppini, an accomplished RC racer who became an engineer with the Audi Revolut F1 Team and was already behind the IWI Pit Watch smartwatch. “RC racing produces a considerable amount of useful information, but it is often fragmented across timing websites, setup sheets, spreadsheets and personal notes,” explains the RC Paddock team. “Our objective is to bring everything together and turn that information into practical decisions at the track.” The platform is aimed at individual racers, engineers and professional teams alike, with several levels of analysis ranging from accessible session overviews to advanced telemetry evaluation. A free plan lets you try the tool with one transponder, the Pro subscription is listed at €36 a year as a launch price and a lifetime licence is offered at €139 for the first hundred subscribers.
