An FWD body built for front-end bite
British brand Phat Bodies is expanding its touring bodyshell lineup with HALO, a new shell for 1/10 FWD (front-wheel-drive) chassis, sized for a roughly 257mm wheelbase and 190mm width. Inspired by VW Polo GT Cup silhouettes, it claims more front-end grip at low speed than the Civic-style shells usually seen in the class.
BRCA-approved, the HALO is molded in 0.75mm Lexan polycarbonate for a race weight of roughly 86 grams once painted and trimmed. The kit includes the rear wing, pre-cut window masks, overspray film, plus light, grille and brand decals.
Priced at £25, this new Phat Bodies reference rounds out an already solid lineup for the fast-growing FWD class on the European touring grids.
