Oiva Metsola crowned Finnish TT 1/10 champion on his Xray XB2

Finnish driver Oiva Metsola was crowned Finnish 2WD TT 1/10 off-road champion, at the national final held in Äänekoski. Driving his Xray XB2, he dominated the weekend from start to finish.

Two TQs and two final wins

Oiva Metsola took top qualifying position in both qualifiers, before winning both finals (A1 and A2) against his closest rivals. On the day’s podium, he finished ahead of Jamiel Gabrielsson and Oliver Kuuse, also competing in TT 1/10.

A national title confirmed in the championship standings

In the final Finnish championship standings, Oiva Metsola also tops the table, ahead of Kristian Ullakko and Patric Bengs. The driver thanked his tuner for the work done on chassis setup as well as for the mental support throughout the weekend.

The Xray XB2 still on top

This new title confirms the competitiveness of the Xray XB2 in 2WD TT 1/10, a chassis particularly popular among Scandinavian drivers this season.
