The 2026 NZRCA Indoor Offroad Nationals drew 220 racers last weekend in New Zealand, and it is young Yokomo factory driver Dylan Toia who leaves with the biggest haul: three national titles.

NZRCA Indoor Nationals: three pole positions for Dylan Toia

Hosted by the Hamilton Radio Control Car Club on the North Island, the event ran on a carpet track with eight classes on the programme. Dylan Toia secured the TQ in three of them before converting most of that advantage into wins.

2WD, 4WD stock then 2WD modified

The Yokomo driver first turned his two poles in 17.5T Stock 2WD Buggy and 17.5T Stock 4WD Buggy into as many titles. He then added the 2WD Mod Buggy crown ahead of the Schumacher of Top Qualifier Jarod Ment, with older brother Logan Toia completing the podium on his own Yokomo.

In 4WD Mod Buggy the script was reversed: starting from the TQ, Jarod Ment held on to take the title, with Dylan Toia having to settle for second. Singapore’s Nicolas Lee, on Xray, completed the podium.

In the other headline class, 17.5 Stadium Truck went to Jackson Coombes, who also took pole, ahead of Scott Brownhill.
