Taiwanese manufacturer MST has just revised the factory steering settings of its RMX 4 drift family. The notice published on 14 August 2026 comes with three revised sheets, one per model, included in the official build manuals.
Three MST RMX 4 models affected by the new steering settings
The update covers the RMX 4 S PRO (part number 532217), the RMX 4 Classic (532218) and the RMX 4 GT (532219). Each gets its own revised setup sheet, to be used instead of the values supplied so far in the original manual.
What the new configuration changes
According to MST, the new steering geometry makes the front end more responsive and allows a stronger throttle application on corner exit — two decisive qualities in drifting, where turn-in speed and angle control come down to a fraction of a steering wheel turn. The manufacturer invites RMX 4 owners to try these values and make them their own rather than treat them as gospel.
Ball joint maintenance recommended alongside
The notice recommends combining these new settings with the MST SCN Ball Joint Dry Lube ceramic dry grease (part number 220020), released at the beginning of August, to keep the steering smooth and free of tight spots once the new geometry is adopted. All three sheets can be viewed free of charge in the news section of the brand’s official website.
