Leadfinger Racing is releasing the MaxSpec-20, a high-downforce 1/10 touring car wing designed to go with its Vortex body. The idea: unlock the shell’s full aerodynamic potential without ever stepping outside the dimensions imposed by the rulebooks.
A wing designed for the Vortex body
The MaxSpec-20 is not a universal wing dropped onto a body at random. Leadfinger Racing lowered its pocket geometry by 6mm to sit the wing as close as possible to the roofline, and lengthened the mounting channels to 20-22mm in order to eliminate interference with internal parts during fitting. The result: clean positioning, repeatable from one body to the next, with no improvising.
A 20mm chord to stay legal under ROAR and IFMAR
The chosen profile has a 20mm chord, a figure picked to comply with the height restrictions in force. The brand claims full compliance with ROAR and IFMAR rules, which is the part’s real selling point in 1/10 touring: chasing extra downforce is pointless if tech inspection turns the car away before the first heat.
Availability
The MaxSpec-20 is sold in pairs, directly from Leadfinger Racing‘s online store.
