JConcepts X-Bite and 4-Ribber: two new 2.0″ tires for 1/10 off-road

JConcepts is releasing two new 2.0″ tires that play on two very different fronts: a modern pin tire for outdoor racing, and a retro front for vintage racing fans.

X-Bite 2.0: the pin tire for outdoor tracks

The X-Bite draws directly on the Dirt Bite 1:8 tire and on early-2000s pin tire designs. It uses a radius pin layout loaded with square pins, with an integrated centre X pattern to stabilise the block. The casing gets internal overlapping X bracing for durability, plus And-1 open cell inserts.

Its natural habitat: loose, wet, natural outdoor surfaces, before the track builds up heavy rubber. Part number 4191-02 in Green compound, $30.00 retail, to be fitted on JC 2.0″ rear wheels (#3479).

4-Ribber 2.0: the retro 2WD front

The 4-Ribber is clearly aimed at vintage racing: a compact front tire with four sharply separated ribs, designed for steering precision. It is sized for the narrow 2.0″ front wheels used in the mid-to-late 1980s, with raised lettering on the sidewalls.

Part number 4192-01 in Blue compound, $23.00 retail, with JC 2.0″ 2WD front wheels recommended (#3478). And-1 inserts are included too.
