JConcepts celebrates several wins in 1/8 buggy and truggy across US tracks

The weekly race results update from the JConcepts race team, published on September 25, 2026, lists another batch of strong results across several North American tracks, with the Bishop brothers and two Florida racers leading the headlines.

At B&T RC Raceway in Crestview, Florida, Gene Shrout Jr. took the win in Vintage 2WD Buggy, a class dedicated to classic 1/10 buggies popular among old-school RC racers. At the same track, Hunter King doubled up, winning both the Mod 2WD Buggy and Mod 4WD Buggy classes, confirming his versatility across both drivetrain configurations.

Over at RC Farm in Crossville, Tennessee, it was the Bishop brothers who stood out: Andrew Bishop grabbed TQ and the win in Pro 1/8 Electric Truggy, while Tom Bishop did the same in the 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy class reserved for veteran drivers.

These results add to a long list of strong finishes racked up this week by the JConcepts race team at other US tracks (Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Connecticut), underlining the depth of its amateur and semi-pro roster in both 1/10 and 1/8 buggy and truggy.
