JConcepts Race Team Update: a North America and Australia tour packed with wins

The weekly JConcepts Race Team Update for the 2nd week of September 2026 lists nine events held in the United States and Australia, across every discipline: electric 2wd and 4wd buggy, stadium truck, 1/8 nitro, monster truck and even dirt oval sprint car.

In California, Mike Bufka won Pro Mod at AMain RC Tracks (Chico), while in San Diego (SDRC) Connor Esbeck put together a 2nd place in Expert 13.5 4wd Buggy, a 2nd place in Stadium Truck and a win in Expert 17.5 2wd Buggy. Also at SDRC, Chris Raceles grabbed TQ and the win in 40+ Mod 2wd Buggy.

In Nevada (Whip It RC, Reno), Joseph Levin took 4th in Mod 2wd Buggy before scoring TQ and the win in Mod 4wd Buggy, while Randy Tanaka doubled up with TQ/win in Mini Truggy and Pro4 Short Course Truck.

In Texas (Oatesified Off-Road RC Raceway, San Antonio), Brian Henn finished 2nd in 40+ 1/8 Electric Buggy. In Iowa (Send It R.C. Speedway, Adel), the sprint car event saw David Fast take 5th in 410 Sprint and 3rd in Open Late Model. In Minnesota (Full Throttle RC Raceway, Foley), Ben Humphrey finished 2nd in 1/8 Nitro Buggy then won 1/8 Nitro Truggy.

In New Hampshire (Maximus RC Raceway, Seabrook), Matt Perault scored TQ and 2nd in Mod 2wd Buggy before winning 13.5 4wd Buggy, while John Cravotta won Mod 2wd Buggy and doubled up with TQ/win in 17.5 2wd Buggy.

On the monster truck tracks of Central PA RC Monster Trucks (Ashland, Pennsylvania), Scott Welch (win in 2wd Monster Truck, podium finishes in Sportmod, Challenger and Retro), Sean Benfer (win in Sportmod, podium finishes in ProMod and Challenger) and JJ Eaton (TQ/win double in ProMod and Challenger) shared the top results.

In West Virginia (Altitude RC, Beckley), Casey Bias doubled up with TQ/win in Expert 17.5 4wd Buggy and 13.5 4wd Buggy, while Colton Bias made the podium (3rd) in Intermediate 17.5 2wd Buggy. In Richmond (Virginia R/C Motorsports), Joe Tate collected multiple podiums (Mini, Meg Mud, 2.2, ProMod) and Chris Roberts won Retro.

In Winchester, Virginia (Adrenaline RC Raceway), Bryson Furnish scored TQ and the win in Classic, with two 2nd places in Wheelie and Stadium Truck. Finally, in Australia (Taree Showgrounds, New South Wales), Peter Seckold doubled up with TQ/win in 1/8 Nitro Buggy and also took the Dash for Cash.
