INOV8’s X-Lite hood support tackles flex on the Schumacher Mi10
Australian aftermarket parts maker INOV8, already known for its X-Lite body mount supports compatible with Xray, Awesomatix and Yokomo chassis, expands its lineup with a new adjustable hood support built for the Schumacher Mi10, a benchmark chassis in 1/10 electric touring.
Built from 7075 aluminum paired with carbon fibre, this support (part# IN8-20017, $31.95) aims to eliminate the body-mount flex seen on fast tracks, a sensitive point on modern touring chassis where body/hood rigidity directly affects straight-line aero behavior. Height is adjustable via a grub screw, and a plastic cap protects the contact area from scratches.
INOV8 already offers equivalent versions for Axon TC10/4, Yokomo MS2.0, Xray X4 and Awesomatix A800R/RR chassis, making it a cross-brand reference for 1/10 touring racers looking to optimize body rigidity without switching chassis.
The part is available in Europe from German retailer Toni Sport, among others.
