Hudy Balkan Series 2026, round 2: Christian Kostadinov doubles up at Slivnitsa

The second round of the 2026 Hudy Balkan Series was held on the Slivnitsa track, some thirty kilometres from Sofia, Bulgaria. Thirty-seven drivers were entered across four 1/10 touring classes, and it was local racer Christian Kostadinov who dominated the weekend with a double win.

Hudy Balkan Series: Kostadinov untouchable in Modified

In Elceram Modified, Christian Kostadinov took the pole at the wheel of his Xray, then delivered a “perfect 100” in the final ahead of Razvan Stroe, who never gave up but had to settle for second. Boyan Stamenov completed the podium.

1/10 Stock 13.5 Outlaw: the biggest class

The largest class of the weekend, Stock 13.5 Outlaw again saw Kostadinov take the pole with a three-lap average of 52.569 before going on to win. Boyan Stamenov finished second and Kaloyan Ivanov third.

GT Stock: an all-female qualifying top three

The standout story of the round came from GT Stock. Radost Kostadinova claimed the pole ahead of Maria Dimitrova and Angelina Stamenova: an entirely female top three in qualifying, rare enough to be worth highlighting. In the final, Kostadinova confirmed and won ahead of Dimitrova, with Konstantin Gankov taking the third step.

1/10 FWD: Stroe gets his revenge

Beaten in Modified, Razvan Stroe made up for it in front-wheel drive: pole and win. Kaloyan Ivanov finished second, Angelina Stamenova third.

The Hudy Balkan Series continues with a third round in Shumen from 25 to 27 September, before the grand final held in Dionisos, Greece, on 24 and 25 October 2026.
