HobbyWing introduces the AXE 5ive R3, a new FOC-controlled brushless ESC aimed at big rock crawlers, showcased in “The Charlie Show” preview video.

Compatible with 3-8S and the AXE 4987 motor

This ESC accepts 3 to 8S power and pairs with the brand’s AXE 4987 motor. It features two auxiliary channels that let users adjust certain settings on the fly, without going back to a programming box.

Bluetooth tuning and real-time data logging

Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, the AXE 5ive R3 can be tuned directly from a smartphone app, with no external programming box needed, and offers real-time data logging and output. It’s available as an ESC-only unit or in a combo with the motor.
