Hobao Racing has launched the Hyper VS2, a ready-to-run 1:8 electric truggy built to handle both bashing sessions and track days. Its lightened 3mm 7075 aluminium chassis forms the base for an all hardened-steel drivetrain, from driveshafts to couplers.
A strong brushless powertrain for the Hyper VS2
Under the hood, the Hyper VS2 packs a 2000kV brushless motor paired with a Hobbywing 150A ESC compatible with 6S and XT90 connectors, alongside an 18kg-cm steering servo and a 3-channel 2.4GHz FHSS radio system. On the chassis side, the steering and shock towers are also 7075 aluminium, with stainless steel front/rear slipper plates to limit wear over time.
The Hyper VS2 is offered as a full RTR at $699 (ref. HB-VSTE-C150GN) or as an ARR rolling chassis without electronics at $490 (ref. HB-VSTE) for racers who prefer fitting their own radio gear and powertrain.
