Japanese manufacturer G-Force is expanding the option list for its 1/10 four-wheel-drive Xtrada buggy with an aluminium centre pulley set, announced on 19 August 2026 on its official website under part number GOP171.

Aluminium centre pulleys to stiffen the Xtrada drivetrain

The Xtrada is a 1/10 electric buggy with belt-driven four-wheel drive, sold as a build-it-yourself kit (GK050) and built around a classic mid-motor layout. On that kind of drivetrain, the centre pulleys take all the torque passing through to both ends of the car: they set the tone when it comes to drivetrain precision.

By replacing the original composite pulleys with parts machined from solid aluminium, G-Force is targeting the elimination of micro-deformation under load, a more direct response when the power goes back on at corner exit and better controlled wear over a race meeting. The first dealer listings mention a set of two pulleys for one car, with a dark gunmetal-type anodised finish.

Price and availability of the GOP171 set

The set carries part number GOP171 (JAN code 4580416471718) and is priced at 1,800 yen excluding tax, around ten euros at the current exchange rate. It is due to go on sale on 5 September 2026 at authorised G-Force dealers; the brand does not detail the exact contents of the kit beyond the product photo published with the announcement.
