Furitek is pushing the micro-crawler exercise a little further with the Rogue 6×6 ARTR, a fully assembled 1/30 six-wheel-drive rig built around a titanium chassis. A tiny format, but a spec sheet that is nothing like a toy.

A titanium chassis for a 1/30 micro-crawler

At the heart of the Rogue 6×6 is a titanium ladder frame assembled with M1.4 hardware, combined with CNC-machined aluminium parts. Furitek quotes aluminium axles 3 mm wider than the stock base, a steel driveshaft system, 25 mm oil-filled aluminium shocks, brass steering knuckles to add weight up front, and low-friction POM rock sliders, completed by high-clearance links designed to preserve ground clearance.

The hand-weathered body is offered in brown (part number FUR-2816) or yellow, each colour having its own part number.

In-house Furitek electronics and immediate use

Delivered as ARTR, the model already carries the full Furitek electronics package: the 2-in-1 Nano UNITY SPEED combining a brushless FOC speed controller and motor, an ANT PRO aluminium digital servo (0.050 s/60° and 1.3 kgf·cm at 6 V for just 7 g) and the 4-channel Gripor V2 radio system.

All that is left is to add a battery: a 2S LiPo in standard SCX30 dimensions, with a JST PH2.0 connector, not included.

Price and availability

The Furitek Rogue 6×6 ARTR 1/30 is listed at $499.99 on the manufacturer’s store, in stock. A high price for the size, but consistent with the level of machining and the electronics supplied — and a strong argument for those who crawl indoors as well as outdoors without access to large courses.
