American brand Furitek expands its crawler lineup with the Krawl 30, a 1/30 scale competition chassis designed to push the limits of miniature crawling.
Krawl 30: the FOC Tri-Unity30 drivetrain at the heart of the project
The Krawl 30 reuses Furitek‘s “Tri-Unity” concept: motor, FOC ESC and ANT Pro steering system are combined into a single unit mounted as low as possible, paired with a 21° angled competition skid plate to maximize usable ground clearance without hurting the center of gravity. The chassis favors lightweight titanium, with 4mm-extended aluminum axles, 12.8g brass wheels and 25mm oil-filled aluminum shocks.
The FOC ESC includes built-in Wi-Fi for wireless tuning, while the whole rig is controlled by Furitek‘s own GRIPOR V2 radio system. Two versions are offered: the full ARTR (#FUR-2846) at $469, and a builder’s kit (#FUR-2848) at $349 for purists who prefer to assemble their own drivetrain.
