Cross RC unveils the TR71, a 4WD 1/7 short course truck

Cross RC is teasing its next short course truck, the TR71, a 1/7 scale evolution designed for both bashing and track driving.

An LCG chassis with independent suspension on all four wheels

The TR71 features a low center of gravity (LCG) chassis made from 4mm-thick 7075 aluminum, paired with independent suspension on all four wheels to soak up jumps and rough terrain. The announced wheelbase is 426mm, on the longer end for large-scale short course trucks.

A Hobbywing powertrain built for performance

For power, Cross RC went with a Hobbywing combo: a 150A ESC rated for 6S and a motor rated at 1650kV, promising consistent performance for this new short course truck.

The TR71 is announced ready-to-run (RTR) and will be available in three body colors. Cross RC has not yet announced pricing, with full details expected in the coming weeks.
