The Canberra Off-Road Model Car Club (CORMCC) has been confirmed to host the opening round of the 2027 Asian Buggy Championships season, on February 10-14, 2027. The announcement marks the official launch of the calendar for the 5th edition of this regional 1/8 off-road buggy championship.
A calendar already well underway
After the Australian round, the championship continues with a round at Philippine Masters, in the Philippines, from March 31 to April 4, 2027, followed by a round at the Lap Paradise track in Malaysia, from May 26 to 30, 2027. A fourth and final round is yet to be confirmed to close out the season.
A discipline on the rise in Asia-Pacific
The Asian Buggy Championships confirm their growing momentum in the region, after a 2026 season held in Indonesia that already brought together a strong field of regional drivers in electric 1/8 buggy.
Registration
Registration details for the Canberra opening round will be announced by the CORMCC club in the coming weeks.
