Season 4 of the Asian Buggy Championships is coming to an end. The decisive round will be held from 3 to 6 September 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, at West Side Raceway, which has just revealed the layout chosen for the occasion.

West Side Raceway reveals the finale layout

The Indonesian track, owned by international racer Adrian Wicaksono, is no stranger to the championship: it already hosted a round in 2024 before dropping off the calendar last year. This return therefore marks the series’ second visit to the venue.

On that first visit in 2024, it was Kouki Kato, an Infinity driver, who won in Jakarta — a success he turned the following season into the overall championship title. A precedent that gives this track particular significance for the title contenders.

A season 4 spanning the whole of Asia-Pacific

Organised by promoter Scotty Ernst, this fourth edition of the Asian Buggy Championships will have criss-crossed the Asia-Pacific region: New Zealand, Malaysia and Australia hosted the earlier rounds before this Indonesian conclusion.

The travelling format has become one of the series’ selling points: it forces drivers to adapt to very different surfaces, climates and grip levels from one round to the next, which makes the overall standings especially hard-fought.

See you from 3 to 6 September

The finale will run over four days, from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 September. With the layout now known, the entered teams can start preparing their 1/8 nitro buggy set-ups for a track whose reputation is well established in the region.
