The Asia Nitro Party is back for a second edition. Asia’s nitro on-road meeting will take place from 15 to 17 January 2027 at the Hongyu GDC track in Foshan, China, with a format expanded to three days of international racing.
Asia Nitro Party 2027: three classes on the programme
Organised by the Hongyu GDC club, the event will host three on-road classes: 1/8 nitro, 1/8 GT and 1/10 nitro. Enough to cover the bulk of international nitro on-road grids over a single extended weekend.
A first edition shaped by Matsukura and Arnaldi
The inaugural edition, run in 2026, saw Naoto Matsukura win in 1/8 on-road and Bernard-Alain Arnaldi take the 1/8 GT class. Two references that immediately gave the event solid sporting credibility and explain the ambition on display for 2027.
A slot tailored for European racers
The January date is no accident. It falls in the middle of the European winter off-season, at a time when northern European tracks are unusable, while southern China enjoys mild weather. The organisers also highlight easy access: visa-free entry for most European passports and a direct arrival through nearby Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
