Arena RC Racing has just added a series of option parts for the Infinity IF14 Speciale, the Japanese brand’s 1/10 electric touring car. Three parts make up the release: narrow lower arms, a chassis T-brace and a bulkhead reinforce brace, each available in two materials.

Narrow lower arms for a sharper corner entry

Arena RC Racing‘s “Narrow” lower arms are shortened by 0.75mm, which reduces the overall track width by 1.5mm. The intended effect is a classic one in 1/10 touring: by narrowing the front track, the car enters corners more actively and rotates earlier. It is a useful setup lever on tight layouts or when the carpet lacks front grip. These arms are offered in both traditional carbon fibre and forged carbon, the latter being more robust and more resistant to impact.

A chassis T-brace against deformation under acceleration

The Chassis T-Brace provides rigidity between the motor mount and the rear of the car. The goal: to prevent the chassis deforming during acceleration, a phenomenon that is particularly marked on steel chassis, where the compliance of the material translates into a loss of consistency as torque builds. The part comes in 2.0mm carbon fibre and 1.5mm forged carbon.

A bulkhead brace to fine-tune flex

The last part in the batch, the new Bulkhead Reinforce Brace, works the other way round and provides more flexibility to the assembly. On an IF14 Speciale, where setup relies as much on chassis stiffness as on the shocks, having several levels of flex on hand makes it possible to adapt the car to track temperature and grip level without touching the springs.
