A Mercedes 203.5 as a 1/10 drift body from APlastics
Few wagons are as recognisable in the drift world as the Mercedes C-Class W203.5 of Black Smoke Racing. The Finnish team, known for machines as neatly built as they are loud, has joined forces with APlastics to turn that silhouette into a clear body for 1/10 drift.
Dimensions matched to 259 mm drift chassis
The shell is vacuum-formed in Lexan (clear polycarbonate) and measures 440 mm long, 200 mm wide and 125 mm high, for a 259 mm wheelbase. That is the reference figure for the vast majority of 1/10 drift chassis on the market, which avoids risky trimming or improvised spacers at assembly time.
The full kit, two livery options
The box contains the clear body, front and rear light buckets designed to take an LED kit (not included), a detailing decal sheet, a sheet carrying the official Black Smoke Racing team livery and a window masking sheet for painting. Owners can therefore either faithfully reproduce the team car or go for their own interpretation of the German saloon.
Price and availability
The body is offered at $65 on the APlastics store. A victim of its own success, it is currently out of stock, with shipping quoted at around twelve days to Europe once restocked.
